Flower Delivery in Přerov
Přerov lies on the Bečva River in the Upper Moravian Depression. It is 21 kilometres south-east of Olomouc.
The first written record of Přerov as a town dates to 1141; Jan Amos Komenský studied at the Brethren school here and taught for four years. The Renaissance castle, dating from the first quarter of the 17th century, houses the Comenius Museum, founded in 1888. Historic Přerov centres on Horní náměstí; part of its core, Horní město, has been an urban conservation area since 1992. In Předmostí, a district of Přerov, lies a world-famous Gravettian settlement of mammoth hunters.
