Flower delivery to Kuwait
In Kuwait, flowers are given for university graduations, the birth of a child and Valentine's Day, and as thanks for work well done or a kindness. When visiting someone's home, it is customary to bring a small gift, such as sweets, chocolate or flowers. Gifts are traditionally handed over with the right hand or with both hands. The recipient usually unwraps them later.
Wedding decorations
At Kuwaiti weddings, the bride's and groom's armchairs are often decorated with fresh roses.
Where the flowers come from
Flowers sold in Kuwait come mainly from the Netherlands, with other sources including Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, India and Peru.
