Flower delivery in Studénka

Studénka lies on the River Oder within the Poodří protected landscape area, about 20 km south-west of Ostrava. The first written record dates from 1436. The town was formed in 1959 through the merger of Studénka and Butovice.

The railway carriage museum, which opened in 1961, is housed in the Baroque château and traces the history of the local carriage works and the railway. The château was completed in 1750, and its tower was added in 1860–1863. The restored Nová Horka château is open to the public.
