Polička lies in a basin by the Bílý potok. It is about 17 km west of Svitavy. The town is 555 metres above sea level.
The Czech king Přemysl Otakar II founded Polička as a royal town in 1265. The town walls are 1,220 metres long. St James's Church is another landmark and is a national cultural monument.

Flowers can be handed to the recipient at home or at work. Delivery can also be arranged to Polička Hospital, which provides follow-up care and treatment for long-term patients. The municipal office on Palackého Square can also be a handover location.
